How We Measure

Collar Take the circumference measurement around the middle of your throat

Chest Take the circumference measurement around your chest and the underarm

Waist Place the measuring tape against the skin around the fullest part of your waist, usually just above your hips.

Hip The tape measure is placed around the hips being sure to incorporate the widest point of the seat.

Body Hold the tape at the point where the seam of the shoulder meets the collar, and keeping it as straight as possible, measure downwards to where you desire the shirt to finish.

Style Notes

All our Informalist fabrics are designed in our London studio and are unique to Turnbull and Asser, meaning you won't find any of these designs anywhere else. The Informalist fit sits perfectly between our regular and slim fit shirts, offering comfort without being loose, and perfect for relaxed weekends. The shirt silhouette is designed to be long enough to be worn tucked-in, even with lower waisted trousers or denim, for a more refined look.

Construction Details

T&A shirts are handmade in our Gloucester factory, using hand-worked sewing machines operated by seamstresses with a wealth of experience. The patterns are cut from the highest quality cotton, with the separate pieces expertly brought together to create the final design. We finish the shirt with ethically sourced mother-of-pearl buttons, which are thermally fused to ensure they never loosen with wear; two branded collar stays are then placed into the collar for aesthetic and functional precision.

Orders placed on a normal business day before 14:00hrs GMT will be processed the same day.

EUROPEAN DELIVERY

UPS Standard (€14.00 - Free when you spend over €100) : Delivery within 2-3 working days, from the date of despatch.

UPS Express Saver (€20.00) : Next Day delivery on orders placed before 2pm GMT the previous day, this service does not include weekend delivery. Our next day service is only available to certain EU countries, please see our delivery page for more information.

Returns

Extended Christmas Returns Period: All items purchased online between November 9th 2018 and Christmas Day 2018 can be returned for a full refund or exchange up until January 31st 2019. Excludes Made to Measure, Bespoke and Personalisation

European Returns : Unworn goods may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Please note that original postage will not be reimbursed and international return costs are not pre-paid.
