ABOUT THE ROLE

Producing bespoke, made to measure and ready-to-wear garments, we are seeking a proficient Lectra-trained Pattern Cutter to join the CAD department, based in our shirt workroom in Gloucester, linking design to its manufacturing on site. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business during a period of growth and technical improvement. The opportunity comes with further Lectra training and professional development for the right individual. The position is available with immediate start.



ROLE DETAIL

Highly-skilled and technical, with an in-depth understanding of pattern cutting, marker making and grading using Lectra CAD software systems. The digitising of manual patterns, creating and/or amending CAD patterns to individual customer specifications for bespoke clients. The development of ready-to-wear patterns in accordance to a design brief and/or specifications, including grading and marker making for manufacture. Responsible for ensuring patterns/markers meet customer specifications and established QA/QC standards required for factory production. Able to work to scheduled deadlines during busy periods of production to achieve department objectives.



CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

BA/BSc/HND qualification in a related field required, and/or minimum of 3+ years experience in pattern cutting. Experienced using Lectra Modaris and Diamino software (or similar), but also an understanding of manual pattern cutting. Has multi-product (woven) knowledge and understanding of garment construction and pattern grading. Experienced using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook and Word. Excellent communicator.



BASIC SALARY / PACKAGE

Full time permanent contract - 38 ¾ hours p/wk
(Monday – Thursday, 7.45am – 4.30pm)
(Friday, 7.45am – 1.30pm)

Salary based on experience.

Sales Associate, New York



INFORMATION

Retail Department, Full Time, 40 hours p/w, Flexible schedule required including evenings, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for a talented and experienced retail sales associate to join the team at our New York flagship. This key role is responsible for driving sales, achieving profit and margin goals and delivering exceptional customer service.

The position is available with immediate start.



ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Customer Service
  • Develop personal action plans to increase sales, address problem areas and capitalise on trends.
  • Contribute to a goal-oriented selling culture that focuses on relationship selling, building a client base and exceptional service.
  • Provide Made to Measure services by measuring clients and placing orders with the appropriate suppliers.
  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging CRM tools.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise and achieve fluency in all aspects of product knowledge.
  • Willingness and flexibility to support all relevant initiatives and direction to ensure a profitable store environment.

  • Merchandising & Store Maintenance
  • Assist in the maintenance of the highest standards of visual, ensuring the highest of housekeeping standards.
  • Implement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organised and reflects the correct visual image at all time.


  • REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of luxury store sales experience (required) in menswear.
  • Experience with Made to Measure and/or Bespoke.
  • Experience with Teamwork or a similar POS system is preferable.
